User Experience (UX) Design

Shaping clear, inclusive experiences

Once we understand the people and the problem, we design experiences that feel straightforward, respectful and usable. Our UX design work translates insight into structure, flows and interfaces that support real tasks — while keeping accessibility and clarity at the centre.

What this involves:

Design work typically includes:

  • Information architecture and content structure

  • User flows and task mapping

  • Low- and mid-fidelity wireframes

  • Interactive prototypes for testing and alignment

  • Visual and interaction design

  • Accessibility considerations woven in from the start (not added at the end)

  • Usability testing and iterative refinement

How we apply it to a project:

We begin with the research insights (or existing knowledge if research has already been done) and map the experience step by step. Early wireframes and prototypes allow us to test ideas quickly with users and stakeholders, gather feedback, and refine before anything is built.

We pay particular attention to accessibility — ensuring the product works for people with a range of abilities and contexts — and keep the design practical so it can be built cleanly.

How it connects:

UX design sits between research and development. It takes the understanding gained from research and turns it into something concrete that can be tested and then built. A well-resolved design reduces ambiguity for developers, protects the original intent, and makes the build phase smoother and more efficient.

Design can follow directly from our research work or pick up from research you’ve already completed. It can also be delivered as a complete prototype and design specification ready for development handoff.
