Frequently asked questions

What services do you offer?

We support digital products across the full journey: user research and market validation, UX design and accessibility, software development, usability and beta testing, launch with SEO and light marketing, and ongoing support and aftercare. You can work with us on the whole process or just the stages you need.

Do you only take on full end-to-end projects?

No. While we enjoy working across the whole lifecycle, we’re happy to join at any stage — whether you need research to clarify direction, design help, development, testing, or post-launch support.

How do you usually start a project?

Most projects begin with a conversation. We listen to what you’re trying to achieve, ask questions, and then suggest a practical way forward. From there we can scope a clear piece of work with agreed goals, timelines and next steps.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on the scope. A focused research or design piece might take a few weeks. A fuller product build with research, design, development and testing usually takes longer. We’ll always give you a realistic timeline once we understand what you need.

How much does it cost?

Every project is different, so we don’t publish fixed prices. Once we’ve talked through your goals and constraints, we’ll provide a clear proposal so you know exactly what is included and what it will cost.

Who do you work with?

We work with organisations and teams of various sizes — from early-stage ideas and small businesses to larger teams that need extra research, design or development capacity. The common thread is a desire to build digital products that work well for real people.

What is your approach to accessibility?

Accessibility is considered from the start, not added at the end. We aim to design and build products that work for as many people as possible, and we test with this in mind throughout the process.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. We work comfortably with clients remotely and have experience collaborating across different locations and time zones. In-person sessions can be arranged when they’re useful and practical.

What happens after launch?

Launch doesn’t have to be the end. We offer light ongoing support and aftercare — monitoring how the product is performing, helping prioritise improvements, and making thoughtful updates when needed.

How involved will we need to be?

We work collaboratively and keep you involved at key points — especially when decisions need to be made or feedback is required. We’ll always be clear about what we need from you and when, so the process stays manageable.

Can you work with our existing team or designers/developers?

Yes. We’re used to collaborating with internal teams and other specialists. We can plug into your existing ways of working and complement the skills you already have.
